Hosur Road Express Highway has been inaugurated and opened for public use from January 2010.
About Flyover: Four lanes, two in direction, metal dividers, streetlights on each side, concrete medians painted black and white. The length of this flyover is 9.985 K.M. It is required only 15 to 20 minutes [at normal speed] to reach the electronic city from Madivala – Silk Board Junction.
This project is executed by Bangalore Elevated Tollways Ltd., as part of The National Highways Development Project and Elevated Highways Project. It was initiated in early 2006 and completed in December 2009. Cost of this project is Rs.105 crores [Approx.].
It starts from Bomanahalli after the Madivala Silk Board Flyover and goes on till Electronic City Phase 1 & 2. Also it goes above the BMIC flyover [Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor] near Electronic City Phase 1.
