Question: Mr. Ravindra Kumar Tell us about your profession?

Reply: I have been working as freelance consultant for the past 6 years.

What are you hobbies, how do you spend your free time?

During the weekends I take family out for food, play and shopping, play squash, do some swimming and of course watch movies. Off late have started reading books while I kind of accompany my elder daughter to library, who’s getting into books now.

What are your favorite Festivals, Places, Books, Movies or Music?

Depending on the mood would like to listen to melodious or the beats kind of music. Am fan of old songs as well (Kannada and Hindi). Have visited quite a few places around the world, some for work and some for holidays. Would like to travel to Japan again. Lately have been reading about leaders on how they achieved it all and what makes them different.

What is the most important piece of Advice you’ve received, that you would like to share with others?

10 years ago one of my colleagues said he’s helping 2 kids by funding their education and at that time I was still clearing my student loan. I have taken this to my daily life and made sure that at any point of time I am supporting at least 5 kids in their education who otherwise would not afford to study, and do not expect anything from them except for that they do the same to others who are in need when they can. Some have now finished Engineering, Nursing etc in jobs now and some are in their schooling.

Who is your role model?

I draw inspiration from many people.

Are you planning to construct your Dream home in Vakil Whispering Woods? If so, then When?

We bought the plot with that intention, but it might take a while to do so as we have not decided to move to Bangalore yet.

What’s your opinion on the Customer Portal? What do you like about it, and do you have any suggestions to improve on it?

Its good to see a developer interested to know the customers interests and incorprate them. I think this is the way to go.

How did you decide to invest in Vakil Whispering Woods?
The good experience with my investment in VGC prompted me to look for another project of Vakil’s.

Please give a short introduction about yourself? You can tell us about your place of origin, where you are currently staying, about your family etc.

I am born and brought up in Bangalore and my wife is from Bangalore as well. We are currently living in Singapore and have 2 daughters.
